Tournament Info

The Don Bosco Chess Festival 2026 is an All Kerala Inter School and Collegiate Open Chess Tournament organized by Don Bosco School, Vaduthala, Ernakulam, and its Alumni Association in association with Kasparov Academy, Ernakulam. The tournament is approved by the Ernakulam Chess Association (ECA) and Chess Association Kerala (CAK).

Event Date: Saturday, 10 October 2026

Venue: Don Bosco Youth Centre, Vaduthala, Ernakulam

Entry Fee: ₹400

Total Prizes: 125 prizes across categories, including cash awards, trophies, and medals. Special trophies are awarded for Best Schools (1st–5th), Best Girls (1st–3rd), Best Coaches (1st–3rd), and Best Divyang player.

Special Event: Chess Quiz Contest at 3:00 PM.

Social Cause: Event proceeds may be used to support scholarship-winning children.

Categories: The tournament is conducted across four distinct categories:

LP Section: LKG to Std 4

UP Section: Std 5 to Std 7

High School Students: Std 8 to Std 12

College Students

Registration & Entry:

No Spot Entry: Entries strictly close on 09/10/2026 at 8:00 PM.

Filling out the registration form after making payment is mandatory; failure to submit the form means the entry will not be considered registered.

After payment via JioPay / GPay, participants must WhatsApp their Name, School/College, Category, Sex, FIDE ID (if any), and payment screenshot to 9495257277 or 9946192609.

The decisions of the Organising Committee on any matter shall be final and binding.
